Known as the "Florence of the Elbe" for its similarity to the Tuscan city, Dresden is one of the most beautiful cities in  Germany. On this day trip you will know its historic center a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Dresden is located 150  kilometers north of Prague, on the River Elbe, near the border with the Czech Republic, and is the capital of Saxony.  Departure from the hotel to the north of the country to cross the border and come to Dresden (150 km). Once in the city we  will stroll in the Bridge of Augustus, the most famous of Dresden, visit the Cathedral, Zwinger Gardens, the Frauenkirche  church and the Semperoper, the most famous opera in Germany. The city received a hard blow at the end of the Second  World War. In February 1945, just twelve weeks before the capitulation of Nazi Germany, Dresden was the subject of a  series of bombings that triggered a firestorm that reduced to rubble historic. The death toll was around 250,000 deaths. The  air raid on Dresden remains one of the most controversial episodes of the Second World War.
